» Empty Toner Cartridge Service

This free-to-use UK-mainland service accepts most cartridges from laser printers (the type normally found in offices) to put them to reuse, or recycling if they cannot be reused.

• This service is a better deal for the environment: most cartridges are reused, and reusing saves more energy than recycling.
• Your cartridges will make a social difference: each collection will raise at least £5.00 for our three partner charities.

Your cartridges can be either empty or unused, and must be:

• Bigger than the size of a clenched fist
• AND use a toner powder (instead of liquid ink)
• AND must NOT be toner 'bottles' or toner 'kits'

N.B. If you have any smaller cartridges which use a liquid ink - 'ink' cartridges normally found in home printers - please send these separately to us under our Empty Ink Cartridge Service, even if you also have toner cartridges.

Packaging and Storing Your Cartridges

Instead of sending you collection boxes, we ask that you reuse the boxes your cartridges come in. Alternatively, you can use other boxes you have if they are strong enough.

This ensures maximum money is raised for our charities from your cartridges, and is better for the environment: reusing existing resources. Your boxes are recycled after the cartridges have been reused.

When storing using the boxes of the cartridges:

• Put 2 cartridges into each box if possible
• Tape the boxes together in sets of 4 [as 2x2] or 6 [as 2x3] for the courier to take away

Finally, Arrange a Collection

If you do not already have an account, please ask to set up a new account under account CART001.

Ask Office Green to arrange a collection for your cartridges. They will give you a date on which the courier will call, and a reference number to put on each of your packages.

If you need a waste transfer note, Officegreen can supply this for your records after the collection has taken place and your cartridges processed.
