» Mobile Phone Service
This free-to-use UK service accepts mobile phones to put them to reuse, or recycling if they cannot be reused.
- This service is a better deal for the environment: most phones are reused, and reusing saves more energy than recycling.
- Your mobile phones will make a social difference: working valuable phones raise funds for our charity partners.
Your phone can be working or non-working. Please include the battery with the phone. You may include the charger if you wish.
This service is not for:
- SIM cards - please remove these before sending your phone
- accessories, boxes or manuals
- landline phones or similar - only mobile phones
- chargers or batteries on their own - they must only be sent with their phones
Just Send!
If you are also using the Empty Printer Cartridge Service, you can include your mobile phones under those instructions instead.
If you have more than 10 phones, please drop us an email to arrange a collection instead.
1. Find an Envelope
Please reuse a Jiffy bag or such to send your phone. Please ensure that the packaging is sufficient to protect the phone as damaged phones are worth less.
This is much more environmentally-friendly than producing new plastic recycling envelopes to send to you, and you can send your phone away right now.
2. Attach the Freepost Postal Label
Please print and attach this postal label: no stamps are required. The barcode on the label is required in order for your phone to qualify for the charity donation.
And send!
3. Thanks, Can We Keep in Touch?
We'd like to keep you updated about the service and our charities. You'll get no more than one message a month, you can unsubscribe in one click using a link at the bottom of our mailings, and your details will not be passed on.
